What do we mean when we pray to God as King and God as Father?
We will study the answers from our tradition as well as Reconstructionist and other contemporary wrestlings with the God images in our prayers. All are invited to join the discussion. Led by Susan Schorr.

Shabbat Morning Services are led by Rabbi Emily or Cantor Melissa. They are grounded in music, guided by clergy, and celebratory of lay leadership. Services include a mix of Hebrew (with transliteration provided), with both traditional egalitarian and interpretive translations. Services are preceded by Torah Study session 9:00-9:45am.

Join us for Festival services and Yizkor when we will chant selections from the Book of Ruth. Professor Mel Scult will be giving a short talk about the way the Book of Ruth has been considered from ancient times to the present.
Song-filled, joyful service open to all, featuring our in-house band, and particularly welcoming to children and their families (who help with leadership!). This week, our JFLL Moving Up Ceremony will celebrate our students progressing.
From October through June, a dairy/parve potluck dinner follows the service. (No potluck over the summer).
Unless otherwise noted, this service will always be in person and on Zoom.
Our November topic is the value of Talmud Torah / Study.
*Due to other WES programming, in November, Middah on Mondays will meet on Monday, Nov. 10th and we will be starting at 8:10 pm to allow anyone who wants to attend the Workers Circle Zoom session that is scheduled from 7-8 pm.
