HaMinyan Salutes Mel Brooks - Laughter is the best medicine and our lay-led, Zoom-only service on July 31 will celebrate Mel Brooks, who turned 100 in June, and include many very-funny bits from his oeuvre.

Join us for an evening of enlightenment, spiritual sustenance and community. Each year, West End Synagogue recognizes the holiday of Shavuot—commemorating when Moses gave the Torah at Sinai—through a traditional evening of learning, questioning, and ice cream sundaes (BYO Lactaid!). This year our celebration of revelation is the perfect time to consider the unexpected, transformative moments that shake us, awaken us, and connect us more deeply to the divine, to others, and to ourselves.
